Good attendance 15% (More than two absences will earn a UW grade)
(S) SPOT QUIZ hand in and for a grade and attendance (morning and afternoon sessions)
(T) TOPIC for discussion (hand in answers to questions that you and a partner co-sign)
(D) DIARY of key points, new words to remember and any suggestions for further discussion
(email me a one-page digest of your diary each week for a grade)
(E) EXERCISE and LAB results
(F) FINAL will be 1) a comprehensive quiz, and 2)
either
a hand-in term paper and short, verbal,
in-class presentation of your findings
or (following these presentations)
two closed-book essays on topics in the course
textbook.
